Luis Betancourt, MD

Dr. Betancourt moved to Charlotte after training & working at Duke University Medical Center as a child and adolescent psychiatrist. He is deeply devoted to provide high-quality and compassionate care. He has particular interest in the interface between religion-spirituality and psychiatry. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Morgan Durand, PA-C

Morgan Durand is originally from Waxhaw, NC and now lives in Charlotte. She obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Gardner-Webb University. Morgan is dedicated to become an integral part of the health and wellness of the community she grew up in and is excited to provide mental health services to adults and pediatric patients. She treats a wide range of psychiatric illness and is passionate about always showing respect and understanding to all her patients.

Jennifer Campbell,
PA-C

Jennifer Campbell Grant was born and raised in South Florida and now resides in Charlotte with her family. She obtained her undergraduate degree of Biology at University of Florida and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. Jennifer comes to us from a community health center in NC where she gained experience in treating a wide variety of mental and psychiatric illnesses. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is wholeheartedly determined to provide her patients with a safe space to navigate their journey to ultimate wellness. 

Aris Azar,
PMHNP-BC, ANP-C, GNP-C

Aris Azar moved to Charlotte a few years back after having lived and worked in New York City for most of his life. While in NYC, he worked as a Hospitalist for New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Hospital and also served as a Primary Care Provider in his own private practice. While living in Charlotte, he has worked for Novant Health serving as a Neurology & Critical Care provider. He is delighted to serve and provide North Carolinians with high-quality and compassionate care. His interests include the management of ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and conversational Arabic.

Teresa Davis,
PMHNP-BC

Teresa Davis was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and now resides in Waxhaw with her family and dog Bandit. She obtained her undergraduate degree in nursing from Gardner-Webb University, her Master as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Winston-Salem State University and her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from The University of Cincinnati .

 

Teresa is a provider and enjoys helping others live their best life. She believe that improving mental health and wellness should be our primary goal.

Peter Bean, PA-C

Peter Bean was born and raised in Falls Church, Virginia, near Washington, D.C. He matriculated from the College of William and Mary before coming down to North Carolina to get his degree in Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Wingate University. Since then he decided to stay in the area for it’s natural beauty as well as the growing need for caring and compassionate healthcare providers. He has previous experience in emergency medicine and comes from a simiilar outpatient clinic where he treated patients across the age spectrum and with various mental disorders, including many with substance abuse problems. He lives just across the border in South Carolina with his wife, baby daughter, and two crazy canines (and an unfortunately increasing number of chickens).

Marina Cawthra, FNP-C

Marina Cawthra is a former COVID-19 nurse practitioner, with experience in both primary care, emergency medicine, and psychiatric care. Marina often enjoys weekends with her small group of friends in uptown Charlotte. She has a passion for her French bulldogs. Marina loves her patients and loves to take care of everyone and prides herself in both compassionate and loving patient care. On the weekends you kindly find her hiking, camping, or swimming in the mountains.

Caroline Holloway Español, LPCA

Caroline enjoys helping adults, adolescents and children work through mental health and behavioral issues. Using cognitive behavioral approach and motivational interviewing techniques, she aims to provide a safe space where you can address your challenges. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she was a therapist at a residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility for adults struggling with substance abuse and other co-occuring disorders. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds on issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, abuse, grief and other life concerns. Her passion lies with helping those suffering from depression and anxiety.
